Vasquez on Naismith Preseason List

ATLANTA - Maryland senior guard Greivis Vasquez is among the 50 players named today to the preseason watch list for the 2010 Naismith Award. Vasquez is one of nine players from the Atlantic Coast Conference to make the list.
A season ago, Vasquez became the first player in Maryland history to lead the Terrapins in points, rebounds and assists in the same season.
Maryland opens its 2009-10 season with an exhibition game on Nov. 3 against Indiana, Pa., with the regular season tipping off on Nov. 13 against Charleston Southern.
