
Baseball Announces Winter Camp Dates

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - University of Maryland head baseball coach Erik Bakich has announced Nov. 7 and 8 as the dates for his first instructional camp, with registration open to athletes in grades 9-12.
The camp, which will be held at Shipley Field, will offer a unique baseball learning opportunity. Juniors and seniors aspiring to be a college ballplayer, as well as freshmen and sophomores looking to make an impact on their varsity team, are encouraged to attend. Enrollment will be limited and is only guaranteed on a first-come, first-serve basis.
The two-day format will be very intense and instructional, and will have a large emphasis on individual position play, hitting fundamentals, and game experience. Players will also have instruction in strength training and baseball agility exercises.
