COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The Maryland gymnastics team will split into two teams Saturday evening as it competes in its second Intrasquad meet of the season at 7 p.m. in the Comcast Center Pavilion. The Terrapins welcome all fans and supporters to come catch a glimpse of the 2009-10 team. For the five newcomers, this is their first public competition as a Terrapin.

The Terps will welcome celebrity guest judges and coaches from the Athletics Department to take part in the event. Judging the event will be from football, Davin Meggett, Bruce Campbell, Lamar Young, and A.J. Frances. From women's lacrosse, Colleen Dawson and Laura Merrifield will be judging, as will Yemi Oyefuma from the women's basketball team. Molly Dreska and Megan Watson from women's soccer will judge as well.

The celebrity coaches will be announced later this week. Make sure to check out umterps.com later to find out who will be coaching the Red and Black teams.

All fans are invited to come out and preview the Terps before their season begins. Admission is free and the Maryland gymnasts will be signing autographs after the event.
