Vogel Finishes 14th in 200 Fly at NCAA Women's Swimming and Diving Championships

COLLEGE STATION, Texas - Maryland junior Jen Vogel took 14th in the 200 fly Saturday at the 2009 NCAA Women's Swimming and Diving Championships on the campus of Texas A & M in College Station, Texas.

Vogel, who won the 200 fly at this year's ACC Swimming and Diving Championships, swam a 1:56.03 to place 16th in the preliminaries Saturday morning before swimming a 1:56.62 to up move a pair of places in the finals Saturday night.

In addition to the 200 fly, the Hingham, Mass., native finished 30th in the 100 fly (53.01) and 40th in the 200 IM (1:59.74) in prelim swims at the 2009 NCAA championships. Fellow teammate Annie Fittin took 41st in the 100 back (54.14).
