AWENDAW, S.C. - Chris Gold shot a six-over par 219 and the Maryland men's golf team finished 15th at the Hootie at Bulls Bay Intercollegiate last weekend.
Gold finished the weekend with back-to-back one-over rounds of 72. Meanwhile, the best round of the week for the Terrapins was posted by John Popeck, who finished with an even-par 71 in the third round to finish 9-over altogether, tied for 54th place.
Donnie Shin finished two strokes back of Popeck, tied for 63rd. Six strokes behind him was Brendan Tracy, who finished tied for 69th.
Maryland is back in action on Friday, April 10 at the River Landing Intercollegiate.
