COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The 6th Annual University of Maryland Baseball Golf Classic is set for Friday, October 2nd at the recently renovated University of Maryland Golf Course. This will be a great opportunity to meet head coach Erik Bakich and his staff, reconnect with friends, and support the baseball program as the Terps look towards the 2010 ACC Tournament. If you would like to participate in this event, you can find the registration and sponsorship information at the top of this page.
The baseball program is in need of players, foursomes, and sponsors in order to make this a successful event. With raffles, a sports memorabilia auction, door prizes and closest-to-the-pin and longest drive contests, this is sure to be a fun and memorable event. All proceeds go to the Maryland baseball program!
The weekend will offer several chances to support Maryland athletics. The M Club Hall of Fame Dinner is Friday night after the golf tournament, where baseball's own Connie Hemphill, Class of '54, will be inducted. On Saturday, the football Terps take on Clemson in the ACC opener at Byrd Stadium.
