Terps Head to ITA Regionals

NORFOLK, Va. -
Five players will represent the Maryland women's tennis team at this weekend's ITA Atlantic Regional, held at Old Dominion University. Newcomer Jordaan Sanford, seeded 10th in women's open singles, and sophomore Burce Kurkan, seeded first in singles qualifying, look to continue their unbeaten streaks in singles this season.
Also slated to compete in singles for the Terps are senior Julia Huschke, junior Jordan Hansbrough, and junior transfer Ana Belzunce, seeded 12th in women's.
All will be playing in the women's open bracket. Huschke and Hansbrough, as well as Belzunce and Sanford, will team up in doubles. Both teams are seeded 9th and will receive first-round byes.
