Terps Travel To Virginia For Weekend Invite

Senior Julia Huschke will help lead the Maryland women's tennis team this weekend at the Hampton Roads Collegiate Invitational.
Junior Jordan Hansbrough, sophomore Burce Kurkan, and freshman Jordaan Sanford will join Huschke as the Terps continue the fall tournament season.
Kurkan is undefeated on the season, going 3-0 and winning the Flight E singles' championship at the William & Mary Invitational in September. She'll look to match that success this weekend, starting Saturday at 8 a.m. when she takes on Temple's Carley Bohman in the opening round of the women's D singles bracket.
This will be the first action for Sanford, who will team up with Kurkan in the women's B doubles bracket. First up for the duo will be Carly Riney and Robie Verano of Army at 9 a.m. Friday.
Huschke and Hansbrough will also be teaming up this weekend in the women's A doubles bracket. Huschke will be playing in the women's B singles bracket, where she will have a first round bye. Hansbrough will face Martina Tripcovici, of the New Jersey Institute of Technology, at 8 a.m. Friday in the first round of the women's C singles bracket.
