Tipping Off: Maryland snapped a two-game losing streak and improved to 4-2 on the season with its win over Delaware State ... the Terrapins improved their home record to 4-0 this year, have won 13 straight at Comcast Center and have lost at home just once in the last 20 games ... Maryland has won 25 straight games when leading at half.

Double-Figure Scoring: Cliff Tucker had a game-high15 points for Maryland on 6-of-7 shooting, and the senior has scored in double figures in all six of Maryland's games this year.

Gregory Sets Mark: Dino Gregory matched his season-high 10 points in the first half alone. The senior finished with a career-high 14 points and with eight rebounds was just shy of his second straight double-double. Gregory shot 7 of 10 from the field.

On the Boards: Maryland out-rebounded Delaware State 39-21 and has won the battle on the boards in four games, while tying once (College of Charleston) and being outrebounded once (Pittsburgh). The Hornets had just three rebounds in the first half and the 21 total was the fewest by a Maryland opponent since Houston had 20 in the first round of the NCAA Tournament last season.

Improvement at the Line: Maryland made a season-high 82.4 percent of its free throws (14 of 17) against Delaware State.

Tidbits: Berend Weijs had a career-high six points ... Adrian Bowie scored in double-figures for the first time this season (11 points) ... there were just 24 total fouls in the game, a season low ...

Game Trends:

  • With Maryland holding a 12-10 lead at the 11-minute mark in the first half, it went on a 22-4 run over the next seven minutes to pull away. Pe'Shon Howard and Berend Weijs keyed the early part of the run, contributing the first five buckets.
  • The Terps shot 57.1 percent in the first half, compared with Delaware State's 40 percent. Half of Maryland's 40 first-half points came in the paint.
  • Delaware State had just three rebounds in the first half, while Maryland had 20. The Terps had nine offensive rebounds, giving them a big advantage in shots taken (28 to 20).
