COLLEGE PARK, Md. - As part of the week leading up to Senior Day on Saturday, Feb. 6, Umterps.com will highlight one of Maryland's five women's swimming and diving seniors each day. Today's senior is Jackie Davidson.
A four-year letterwinner from Beverly, Mass., Jackie Davidson has been solid as a rock in both the freestyle and the backstroke events for Maryland. As a junior, she secured four career bests including the 50 free (23.31), 100 free (50.95), 100 back (55.65), and 200 back (2:00.19) at the ACC Championships held in College Park. This season, Jackie helped lead Maryland to yet another Terrapin Cup Invitational championship with a pair of third-place finishes in the 100 and 200 back as the Terps boast a 10-2 dual meet record heading into the final weekend of regular season competition.
