Tipping Off: Maryland came back from a 19-point deficit to get within two of Georgia Tech, but ultimately fell in the Atlantic Coast Conference Tournament quarterfinals, 69-64.

More From Milbourne: Landon Milbourne tallied 15 points in the game, his most since also scoring 15 against North Carolina on Feb. 7. The senior also grabbed six rebounds, had a career-high tying five steals, one assist and one block while not committing a turnover. Should Milbourne record one more block, he will become just the 12th player in school history to record 100 in his career.

Vasquez: Greivis Vasquez scored a game-high 17 points and a career-high tying five steals. However, when he missed the second of two free throws late in the first half, he snapped a streak of 35 consecutive free throws made that dated back to Maryland's game against NC State on Feb. 17. The Maryland record for consecutive free throws made is 40, achieved by Juan Dixon in 2001.

6th to 600: By recording two assists on the evening, Eric Hayes became the sixth player in Maryland history to record 600 assists in a career. Hayes also contributed 14 points on 6-of-12 shooting (2 of 5 from 3-point range).

Turning Over Tech: Maryland forced Georgia Tech into 25 turnovers, which tied for the most TOs committed by a Maryland opponent (also Fairfield Nov. 17). Milbourne and Vasquez each had five steals, while Sean Mosley had a career-high tying four. The Terps converted the 25 turnovers into 20 points.

Tidbits: Georgia Tech took just 17 shots in the second half, compared to 36 by Maryland. The Yellow Jackets, however, attempted 20 free throws to just four by the Terps in the second stanza... Georgia Tech held an 18-12 edge in points in the paint halftime, but both teams finished the game with 28... Maryland had 10 fast break points to Georgia Tech's six... The Terps grabbed 16 offensive rebounds while Georgia Tech had 11.
