Two Future Terps Named To All-Star Team

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Corrigan Sports Enterprises (CSE) and Sports America, Inc., announced the U.S. roster for the 37th Capital Classic Presented by Bart & Associates, and it includes two future Terps.
Mychal Parker a 6-foot-6, small forward from The Miller School in Richmond, Va. and Terrell Stoglin, a 6-foot-1 point guard from Santa Rita high school in Tucson, Ariz., have all been named to the prestigious team.
The annual high school boy's basketball All-Star game, set for Thursday, April 15, 2010 at American University, pits the nation's top senior prospects versus the D.C. area's elite seniors.
Overall the 12-man U.S. roster is comprised of 10 recruits headed to the ACC or Big East conferences.
From its prominent beginning in 1974, the Capital Classic has introduced fans to the next generation of superstars. The greats, including Moses Malone, Michael Jordan, Patrick Ewing, Magic Johnson and Dominique Wilkins have all participated in the Capital Classic, as well as the new age All-Stars of Lebron James, Chris Paul and Carmelo Anthony.
Tip-off is set for 8 p.m. and the game will be preceded by a 6 p.m. contest featuring District All-Stars versus Suburban All-Stars.
