COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Maryland plays host to Duke Wednesday at Comcast Center in a battle of the top two teams in the Atlantic Coast Conference. The Terrapins enter the contest on a five-game winning streak and a 21-7 record, including an 11-3 league mark. The Blue Devils are riding an eight-game winning streak and are 25-4 overall and 12-2 in the league. Maryland and Duke have secured the Nos. 1 and 2 spots in the league, as no other team has fewer than six league losses.

The game will be telecast nationally by ESPN.

The Terrapins returned to the national polls this week, coming in at No. 22 in the Associated Press poll and No. 23 in the ESPN/USA Today coaches' voting. It was the first time since late November that the Terrapins appeared in either ranking. With the top three teams in the nation losing last weekend, Duke moved up to No. 4 in both polls this week.

With Saturday's 104-100 double-overtime win at Virginia Tech, Maryland head coach Gary Williams became only the third coach in ACC history to win 200 ACC regular-season and tournament games. Williams is in his 21st year as head coach at his alma mater. He has moved into fifth place nationally in victories among NCAA Division I coaches, now with 646.

Tonight marks Senior Night for the men's basketball Class of 2010. Greivis Vasquez, Landon Milbourne and Eric Hayes will be playing their final game at Comcast Center, with Jerome Burney also in the graduating class. Managers Kyle Sweeney and John O'Brien will also be honored in tonight's Senior Night ceremonies. The current senior class has compiled a record of 86-45 over its four years, including a pair of NCAA Tournament appearances, so far.

Greivis Vasquez and Jordan Williams swept the weekly honors in the Atlantic Coast Conference on Monday. Vasquez was the Player of the Week in the league after averaging 28.0 points, 9.5 assists and 4.5 rebounds as the Terps won both of their games. Vasquez picked up his 12th career double-double with 15 points and 13 assists in the home win over Clemson. He then scored a career-high 41 points in the double-overtime victory at Virginia Tech. It marked only the fifth time in ACC history a player scored 40 points or more in an ACC road win.

Williams won the ACC Rookie of the Week award for the second time this season, averaging 13.5 points and 10.0 rebounds in the two games. He scored 18 points on 8-for-12 shooting in the win over Clemson and pulled down a career-high 15 rebounds with nine points and a pair of blocked shots at Virginia Tech. The 15 rebounds were the most in a single game this season by a Terp.

Vasquez has moved into third place on the career scoring list at Maryland, now with 2,069. He trails only Juan Dixon (2,269, 1999-02) and Len Bias (2,149, 1983-86) on Maryland's scoring list. Vasquez is the only player in ACC history and the only current player in the NCAA who has combined for 2,000 points, 600 rebounds and 700 assists in his career. Vasquez is among the top 10 players in Maryland history in 10 categories.

Landon Milbourne ends his home career at Maryland as one of 49 players to have scored 1,000 career points. Milbourne is one of only four players in ACC history to reach the 1,000-point mark after scoring 25 or less in their freshman year. He comes into tonight's game with 96 career blocked shots and could become only the 12th Terrapin in history to reach 100 career blocks.

Eric Hayes is another of the Terrapin seniors to have reached the 1,000-point milestone this season. Already 37th on the career scoring list, Hayes is sixth with 491 career assists, fourth in career 3-pointers (187), sixth in 3-point attempts (464), fourth in 3-point percentage (.403) and could end his career as the most accurate free-throw shooter in school history. Currently at .866, Hayes could best the mark of .858 set by Greg Manning from 1978-81.

Duke is getting the bulk of its scoring from three players this season. Jon Scheyer leads the team with 18.8 points per game and has made 83 3-pointers this season. Nolan Smith averages 17.4 points per game and Kyle Singler scores 17.1 points per game and leads the team with a 7.0 rebounds-per-game average. Scheyer, Smith and Singler rank third, fourth and seventh, respectively, on the ACC scoring list. Malcolm Delaney of Virginia Tech (20.4 ppg) and Greivis Vasquez of Maryland (19.5 ppg) rank first and second.
