Vasquez Passes Bias: Greivis Vasquez moved into second place on Maryland's career scoring list with his 26-point effort. He entered the game four points shy of Len Bias (2,149/1983-86) and the senior ended his four-year career with 2,171.
Mr. Consistency Down the Stretch: Since going scoreless vs. NC State on Jan. 23, Eric Hayes has hit double figures in eight straight games, including 18 today. He was 6-for-12 from the field.
Williams Doubles Up: Jordan Williams posted his eighth double-double of the season with 10 points and 10 rebounds. The freshman has posted double-figure rebounding totals in seven of his last 10 games and hit double figures in scoring in six of the last 10.
Three in a Row: After not reaching double figures in six straight games, Landon Milbourne hit twin figures in each of the last three contests. He had 11 points vs. Michigan State and 19 points Friday against Houston, his highest output since tallying 19 vs. Longwood on Jan. 19, 2010.
