The Terps, 2-1 overall and 1-0 in the EAGL conference, will look to ride the energy from last weekend's home-opening win against Air Force and New Hampshire.

"We're off to a great start this season and we'll be looking to carry that momentum into the competition this Friday," said head coach Brett Nelligan. "The crowd was great last week and we're looking forward to seeing another strong turnout from the fans as well."

In 2011, the Ball State Cardinals are 0-2 with losses to Pittsburgh and Central Michigan while the nearby Towson Tigers are 2-0 against Bridgeport and Brown.

After the weekend tri-meet, Maryland will travel to its first quad in Ann Arbor, Mich., against Illinois-Chicago, Kent State and Michigan on Jan. 29 at 7 p.m. The Terps will continue their road trip at EAGL rivals North Carolina and Pittsburgh on Feb. 5 and 12, respectively.
