The University of Maryland baseball team will play Florida State on ESPNU on Monday, May 7, as the network plans to televise nine consecutive weeks of ACC Olympic sporting events on Mondays at 7 p.m. this spring.
The schedule, which includes six baseball games, two softball games and the women's lacrosse championship, opens on March 19 with Virginia at Florida State baseball and concludes May 14 with Florida State at Clemson baseball.
"ACC Mondays allowed us to create a home for ACC sports fans on ESPNU with a consistent day and time each week with the conference's best match-ups," said Dan Margulis, ESPNU director of programming and acquisitions.
"This is a terrific opportunity and a great platform to highlight our players and programs," said ACC Commissioner John Swofford. "ACC Monday provides the ability for fans to enjoy ACC content by appointment each week."
