Postgame notes following Maryland's 65-60 win over Radford Friday night at Comcast Center.
Tipping Off: Maryland, which has won four straight, improved to 7-3 on the year while Radford dropped to 3-11 ... neither team led by more than seven points in the game ... Maryland is 22-2 in its last 24 non-conference home games.
Howard Returns: Pe'Shon Howard made his first appearance of the season this evening. The sophomore point guard entered the game at the 17:16 mark of the first half and made an immediate impact. He assisted on Sean Mosley's jumper at 16:54 and then added his first bucket 15:20. Howard had seven points, three assists in 32 minutes of action.
Pankey-Padgett Double Up: Ashton Pankey (career-high 17 points) and James Padgett (10 points) reached double figures in scoring in the same game for the third time this season (also UNCW and Mt. Saint Mary's). Pankey also had five rebounds in 24 minutes
Doing the Little Things: Nick Faust struggled shooting the ball (2 of 8 from field for seven points), but contributed in a number of ways. The freshman had a career-best seven rebounds, four assists and no turnovers.
Stoglin's Streak Ends: Terrell Stoglin tallied 15 points, snapping his streak of 20-point games at five. He is one of five Maryland players to post five or more 20-point games in a row since 1992-93. Stoglin has scored in double figures in eight straight and nine of 10 games this season.

Strong Effort on the Glass: Maryland, which entered the game averaging 12.9 offensive rebounds per game (fourth in the ACC), had a season-high 19 with James Padgett hauling in five. Padgett entered the game leading the ACC in offensive rebounds per game (4.2). Overall, the Terps posted a season-best 43 rebounds (previous high: 40 vs, Notre Dame).
