Gregory Catches Fire: Dino Gregory was solid in his Senior Day outing, tying his second-highest point total of the season . Gregory shot 6-for-10 from the floor, adding three rebounds and a block. He is averaging 12.3 points per game in his last eight outings. He has hit double-digit scoring figures in six of his last eight games.
Inching closer: Jordan Williams grabbed six rebounds to inch closer to No. 3 Joe Smith (362) on Maryland's single-season rebound list. Williams now has 359 in his sophomore campaign.
Making a Run of It: Maryland utilized an 8-0 run in-and-around the five-minute mark in the second half to chop the Cavaliers lead to five. Virginia was able to pull away late in the period to cap the game on a 9-0 run which included a 7-for-7 performance from the free-throw line.
