Tipping Off: Maryland fell to 18-13, including a 7-9 mark in the ACC... the Terps are now tied for seventh in the conference standings with Virginia ... Maryland leads the all-time series with Virginia 106-68, with the loss snapping a three-game winning streak vs. the Cavaliers ... Maryland is 6-3 all time in Comcast Center against the Cavs.

Gregory Catches Fire: Dino Gregory was solid in his Senior Day outing, tying his second-highest point total of the season . Gregory shot 6-for-10 from the floor, adding three rebounds and a block. He is averaging 12.3 points per game in his last eight outings. He has hit double-digit scoring figures in six of his last eight games.

Inching closer: Jordan Williams grabbed six rebounds to inch closer to No. 3 Joe Smith (362) on Maryland's single-season rebound list. Williams now has 359 in his sophomore campaign.

Making a Run of It: Maryland utilized an 8-0 run in-and-around the five-minute mark in the second half to chop the Cavaliers lead to five. Virginia was able to pull away late in the period to cap the game on a 9-0 run which included a 7-for-7 performance from the free-throw line.

Senior Milestones: Dino Gregory is now four rebounds away from 400 for his career. Cliff Tucker is 12 rebounds away from 300 for his career.

Scoring Surge: Terrell Stoglin is three points away for 8th on the freshman season scoring list.

Senior Style: Maryland seniors Adrian Bowie, Cliff Tucker, and Dino Gregory combined for 25 of the Terps' 60 points against Virginia. The trio also added 10 rebounds, three assists and a pair of steals.

Starting Lineup: Saturday's starting lineup was the eighth different group head coach Gary Williams has used this season. It was the first time the quintet of Williams, Tucker, Gregory, Bowie and Stoglin started a game.

Tidbits: The Terps blocked 10 Virginia shots, which tied for the second-highest total of the season.
