Baseball's Golf Classic Set for Aug. 26

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Head coach Erik Bakich and the Terps will serve as host to the University of Maryland Baseball Golf Classic on Friday, Aug. 26.
The event, in its eighth year, serves as a fund-raiser for the Maryland baseball program.
The tournament is scheduled for a 1 p.m. shotgun start at the University of Maryland Golf Course, which recently held the Melwood Prince George's County Open, a Nationwide Tour event.
There are a number of prizes included with the fee - new car hole in one, closest to pin and longest drive. There will also be an auction and door prizes at the conclusion of the golf, as well as sponsorship opportunities.
