PISCATAWAY, NJ — A dominant pitching effort from Rutgers earned the Scarlet Knights a 10-0 win over Maryland on Saturday night in the second game of the weekend series. The Terps were limited to one hit in the eight-inning contest as they fell to 23-28 (6-20 Big Ten) on the season.
Logan Hastings got the start on Saturday and kept Rutgers hitless until the fourth inning. He allowed four runs on four hits across his five innings of work before turning the pitching duties over to the Terps' bullpen. Ryan Bailey and Landon Edwards both threw in relief in the loss.
