MONTREAL - Four Maryland swimmers tallied six USA Olympic Trial cuts at the 2011 Canada Cup in Montreal last weekend.

On the men's side, John Hauser tallied cuts in the 50 and 100 free while Annie Fittin (50 free), Addison Koelle (100 and 200 fly) and Ginny Glover (100 back) also registered Olympic Trial marks. Fittin improved her previous 100 free time which had already qualified the senior for the trials. She won the 50 free at the international competition while taking second in the 50 fly. Glover was second in the 50 back.

"I think our performance in Canada last weekend proves that the time and effort of staying on campus during the summer and training hard pays off," head coach Sean Schimmel said. "This group of student-athletes has the focus to achieve great things both in the pool and in the classroom this summer."
