"We had a lot of great performances on both sides this weekend and the men fought hard despite coming up a little bit short," head coach Sean Schimmel said. "Everyone, especially the freshmen, are adjusting to what we do here and taking that step into championship season. We are in a good place five or six weeks out of ACCs and NCAAs."
The Terps return to College Park next weekend as they play host to West Virginia Saturday.
