COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The Maryland swimming and diving team returns home for its final two dual meets of the season beginning with a contest against West Virginia at 1 p.m. Saturday at Eppley Recreation Natatorium.

The women's squad, which boasts a stellar 7-1 mark in dual meet action this season, is currently ranked 25th in the CSCAA top 25 poll. The Terps are led by reigning ACC Women's Performer of the Week Megan Lafferty, who captured the 50 free and 100 fly in addition to leading Maryland to a sweep of all four relays last weekend at Pittsburgh. It was Lafferty's second ACC weekly honor this season. Maryland topped WVU 202-96 last season.

The men's team saw its winning streak snapped at Pitt last weekend. The Terps were narrowly defeated by the Panthers, 193.5-159.5, despite a slew of solid finishes including wins by Jack Clewlow (1-meter dive), Andrew Relihan (200 and 400 IM), Sean Stewart ( 100 fly), John Hauser (50 and 100 free) and David Speese (100 and 200 breast). The Terps look to avenge a 213-87 loss to WVU in 2011.

West Virginia is 3-2 on the women's side and 2-2 on the men's this season. The women's team topped Pitt its last time out while the men fell to the Panthers.

Maryland will celebrate Senior Day against Georgetown Feb. 4 in its final tune-up prior to conference championships.
