Tipping Off: Maryland ran its record to 10-3 on the season with its seventh straight win, while Cornell dropped its fifth straight to fall to 4-9 ... the Terps are 2-0 all-time against the Big Red, with the other meeting a 92-41 Terrapin win on Nov. 27, 1993 ... Maryland is 25-2 in its last 27 non-conference home games.

Len Comes Up Big: Alex Len scored a season-high 15 points, nine of which came in the second half. The 7-foot-1 freshman was one rebound shy of a double-double, grabbing four offensive boards and five on the defensive end. He also made all five of his field goal attempts, connected on 5 of 6 at the free throw line, matched a season-best with three blocks and recorded one steal. Through three games, Len has made 15 of 19 field goal attempts (78.9 percent).

Mosley Carries Scoring Load: Sean Mosley led all scorers with 19, marking the second most points the senior has scored this season (21 vs. Iona). It was also the second time he's led the Terps in scoring (also Iona). Mosley finished 6 of 9 from the field (2 of 4 3FG) and hit five of six at the free throw line. He also had six assists, a pair of steals and two assists.

Rebounding Margin: The Terps won the battle on the boards for the fifth straight game, finishing with a 34-27 edge. Over the last seven contests, Maryland has out-rebounded its opponents, 275-206, an average margin of 9.9 per game.

Good Distribution: Maryland had 13 assists on 17 first-half field goals as eight Terps recorded at least one helper. Terrell Stoglin had four while Pe'Shon Howard and Ashton Pankey had two apiece to lead the way.

Team Effort: Of the nine players that saw action in the first half, each had at least one rebound, eight had at least one assist and eight scored at least two points.

First-Half Notes: The Terps started the game on a 16-0 run, their best run of the season ... the previous best was a 13-0 run against Albany ... by the under-12 media timeout eight Terps were already in the scoring column ... Maryland had a season-best 23-point lead with 10:38 left ... the Terps had more points in the paint (18-12), fast-break points (10-2), blocks (4-0) and assists (13-5) ... Maryland shot 63 percent while Cornell shot 36.7 percent.

Second-Half Notes: Maryland didn't make its first field goal until Sean Mosley hit a 3-pointer with 8:34 left ... after James Padgett knocked down a pair of free throws to open the half, Cornell went on a 20-4 run ... Cornell had the edge in points in the paint (16-8), bench points (9-1), fast-break points (4-0), assists (6-2) and steals (4-2) ... Len had six of his nine rebounds, including four on the offensive side, in the half ... Mosley had five of his six rebounds.

Tidbits: Maryland used a starting lineup of Terrell Stoglin, Pe'Shon Howard, Sean Mosley, James Padgett and Alex Len for the second straight game ... Terrell Stoglin didn't score 20 points, but he reached double-digits for the 12th time in 13 games with 14 points ... over the last three games Maryland is shooting .494 (80 of 162) from the field.
