Terps Earn ITA Ranking

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The Maryland women's tennis team will begin the spring season ranked 40th after the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) released its preseason rankings on Tuesday.
The Terps are one of nine Atlantic Coast Conference teams ranked in the top-40.
Following an 8-2 fall campaign which included the USTA/ITA Atlantic Regional singles title, sophomore Cristina Stancu is No. 28, while junior Ana Belzunce and sophomore Welma Luus are ranked 37th following their regional doubles title.

Maryland begins the spring season Tuesday, Jan. 24 as the Terps play host to Howard.
