Fall World Series Roster
COLLEGE PARK, Md. -
The University of Maryland baseball team concludes its fall season this weekend with the annual Fall World Series.
Game one of the best-of-three series is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 20 at Bob "Turtle" Smith Stadium at 9:30 a.m. The second game will be played Sunday at 4:15 p.m. with game three scheduled for 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday if necessary.
Saturday's pitching matchup will feature senior Jimmy Reed, whose 2.70 ERA led the Terps in 2012 and ranked ninth in the ACC, up against sophomore Zach Morris, a transfer from Cincinnati who led the Bearcats in ERA (3.11) in 2012 and was a finalist for the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) All-Freshman Team.
The Terps return 20 players from a team that won 32 games last season and welcome 15 newcomers to the squad.
All three games are open to the public and are free admission. Due to the football game against NC State at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, parking will only be available in cash lots. For information on football game day parking, visit the Department of Transportation Services website.
