The Terps drew 1,239 fans to Bob “Turtle” Smith Stadium on Thursday night.
Mendez hit a two-run homer in the third inning for his 10th blast of the season to become the fourth Terp with double-digit home runs this season. Mendez finished with two hits, two runs scored, and two RBIs on Thursday night.
One game after tallying 11 RBIs against Georgetown, Paul Jones II got the Terps on the board with an RBI single. Jones II has collected 17 RBIs over his last three games. His knock plated Mendez for the first of his two runs scored in the loss.That ball was blasted 🚀
