COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Sophomore Katy Dodds has been voted East Atlantic Gymnastics League Specialist of the Week the conference announced Tuesday for her performance on vault, bars and floor, Sunday against Bowling Green State and North Carolina.

Dodds' explosive performance on vault resulted in a season-high 9.900, with a 10.000 from one judge, and a second-place finish.

The Gaithersburg, Md., native turned in a career-best tying performance on floor to close the meet. Dodds finished with a 9.875 take top honors in the event.

In their tri-meet victory over the Falcons and Tar Heels, Dodds helped the Terps (6-4, 2-1 EAGL) score a season-best 48.900 on vault and 48.925 on floor.

Maryland is next in action Friday, Feb. 10 at 7 p.m., when the Terps face North Carolina in Chapel Hill.
