NEW YORK, N.Y. -
Myah Hicks and Ashley Cromartie each had solid performances in the women's 800-meter run on Saturday at the Columbia Last Chance indoor track meet hosted by the N.Y. Armory.
Hicks was eighth in 2:11.45, while Cromartie posted a career-best 2:12.15 to place 12th overall. Cromartie's time moved her into eighth place all time on Maryland's indoor list.
Julie Fricke ran a season-best 4:54.75 in the women's mile for the Terrapins, while the distance medley relay team was fourth in 11:44.37.
On the men's side, Kyle Graves went 4:07.67 in the mile run, coming close to his season-best.
Maryland will learn this week if it has any student-athletes who receive bids to next weekend's NCAA Indoor Nationals.
