STATE COLLEGE, Pa. - The Maryland Men's Golf Team will compete in their final tournament of the regular season at the Rutherford Intercollegiate April 20-21. The event played at the par 71, 7,202-yard Penn State Blue Course will tee of at 7:30 a.m. Saturday morning.
The Blue Course has hosted numerous events over the years conducted by the USGA, FCWT, AJGA, IJGT, PGA Junior Series and the West Penn Golf Association. With the ACC Championships only a week away, the Terps will look to polish their game and record another strong finish.
Junior Sean Bosdosh and Freshman Tom Harris both continue to lead the way for the Terps. Harris is coming off a T2 place finish at the Seahawk intercollegiate last month, where he shot a four-over 148. Bosdosh ranks eighth in the conference in scoring average, 71.86 through 22 rounds this year.
In addition to Maryland and hosts Penn State, the tournament field will feature Bowling Green, Seton Hall, Youngstown State, Rutgers, University of Minnesota, Binghamton, Robert Morris, Ohio University, Xavier, Georgetown, University of Connecticut, and Villanova.
Live stats will not be available for the tournament, but daily recaps will be posted on umterps.com.
