Women's Soccer Falls to Santa Clara

FAIRFAX, VA.-At the George-Mason/Umbro Classic No. 7 Santa Clara disposed of No. 14 Maryland 1-0. Santa Clara's Rachel Weber was the hero of the game when she picked up a bad clear by the Terrapin defense and juked goalkeeper Riki-Ann Serrins and sped around her. From there it was clear sailing as she drilled one into the upper right corner from 11 yards out. The Broncos outshot the Terrapins, 11-5.
