Terps Men's Basketball to Hold Red/White Scrimmage Prior to Saturday's Football Game
College Park, Md. -- Head Coach Gary Williams and the University of Maryland men's basketball team will hold its first Red/White scrimmage of the season on Saturday, October 25 at 12 Noon in the newly renovated Richie Coliseum on campus. Admission is free and the event is open to the public. Richie Coliseum is located on Route 1 in College Park next to Fraternity Row and across the street from the Rossborough Inn.
The Terps will open the 1997-98 regular season on November 14 as they play South Carolina in the Black Coaches Association Classic in Minneapolis, Minn. The team begins their home schedule as the play host to Farleigh Dickenson on November 18 in Cole Field House.
