2004 Cross Country- Ran in four races... best finish came at the home ACC Pre-Meet when he ran a 26:43.43 over 8k to finish sixth overall... topped that time two weeks later at the ACC Championships, when he ran a 26:32.6 to finish 44th... best time of the season came in the team's second meet, running a 26:28.77 to finish 17th overall at the James Madison Invitational.
As a junior: Indoor- Ran in three 3,000-meter races for the Terps... ran a season-best 8:59.65 at the Collegiate Open.. finished in 14th place at the Delaware Invitational and ninth place at the Patriot Games...Outdoor- Competed at North Carolina, finishing in 16th with a time of 9:07.54... finished 15th in the 5000 meters at the ACC Championships, running a 15:44.46.
As a sophomore: Indoor- Placed 15th at the Maryland Invitational in the mile...Outdoor- Competed in three meets for the Terps...finished seventh in the 5,000 meter run at the Maryland Invitational with a time of 15:51.18.
Before Maryland: Ran four years of varsity cross country for South Carroll High School, assisting in the school's back-to-back state championships in 1997 and 1998...won four varsity letters in track and two in indoor track...selected to All-County outdoor track team four times...named to all-county and all-CMC cross country teams four times...was part of the school's record-holding 4x800 team ...named to the All-Baltimore Metro team twice...was recruited by Penn State, Frostburg, and LaSalle.
