Angie Ferg Bio

2005: Most surprising Terp...competed in 13 meets for the Terps on vault, balance beam and floor exercise in all of those meets...finished first on vault (9.775) at George Washington on March 2...placed in top 10 on three events at EAGL conference championships, scoring 9.825 on vault (career-high), 9.775 on balance beam (career-high) and 9.825 on floor (career-high) at EAGL.

2004: A vault specialist...competed in eight meets for the Terps...scored season high of 9.775 on March 6 vs. Stanford.

Prior to Maryland: Competed for ACPR Gymnastics club and was state champion in the balance beam four years...took third in all-around three times at the state championships...qualified for regionals five times and competed in the national championships twice.

Personal: Daughter of Joyce and David Ferg...has two brothers, Kevin and Jonathan...will compete against former ACPR teammates Kari Williams and Laura Bouchelle, who attend West Virginia and Pennsylvania, respectively...majoring in kinesiology.
