On Stojadinovic:The school record holder in the 1000-yard freestyle (9:13.01), Stojadinovic returns as one of the top distance swimmers for the Terps this season.
1999-00 Season: Finished 22nd in the 1650-yard freestyle (16:27.76) and the 200-yard freestyle (1:44.82) at the 2000 ACC Championships … winner of six events during the regular season in dual meets.
1998-99 season: Set the school record in the 500-yard freestyle (4:28.45) at the 1999 ACC Championships … finished first in all 15 regular-season events he competed in except the 500-yard freestyle against Virginia on Feb. 6 … finished eighth in the 500-yard freestyle, 11th in the in the 1650-yard freestyle, and the 17th in the 200-yard freestyle at the ACC Championships … did not join the Terps until the Villanova/George Washington meet on Jan. 16.
Before Maryland: Stojadinovic was a three-time NCAA Champion at the Division II level (200-, 500-, and 1650-yard freestyle) while competing for Salem-Teikyo …the 1998 Salem-Teikyo Athlete of the Year, he was a triple champion in the West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, winning the 200-, 500- and 1650-yard freestyle … the 1998 Division II Swimmer of the Year, he was also the 1998 WVIAC Swimmer of the Year.
