As a Freshman (2009-10): Registered the third best time in the 200 free (1:39.81), 500 free (4:28.84) and 1650 free (15:42.56) on the team...as only a rookie, finished 17th in both the 200 free and the 1650 free and racked up a 19th-place finish in the 500 free...also aided the 800 free relay to a fourth place finish and a new school record (6:31.77) and a B-cut showing...at the Terrapin Cup, led 800 free relay to a win while individually finishing third in both the 500 free (4:28.93) and 1650 free (15:50.01) and fourth in the 200 free (1:40.25)...established a career-best in the 200 free.
Before Maryland: Michigan state champion in the 500 free as a junior and senior...finished 10th in the 500 free at the state meet as freshman and fifth as a sophomore...also member of all-state 400 free relay as a junior...second-place finisher in the 200 free at the state championships as a senior...three-time Oakland County champion...RHS school record holder in 200 and 500 free and 200 and 400 free relay...Oakland Press Athlete of the Month in March of 2009...also ran cross country three years for the Falcons...competed with North Oakland Waves...won 500 free and finished second in the 200 free at the 2006 USA Michigan State Meet...captured the 1000 free in record-setting fashion at the 2008 YMCA Great Lakes Zone Meet...finished fifth in the 500 free and eighth in the 1000 free at the 2008 YMCA National Meet before finishing fourth and fifth, respectively, in 2009...established a new record in first-place finish in 1650 free at 2009 YMCA Great Lakes Zone Meet...also won the 500 free at that meet.
