1999-00 season: 1999-00 Season: Enjoyed what the coaches called a "breakout" season as a junior for the Terps … developed his strength to become one of the top freestylers on the Terrapin roster … was part of three Terrapin relay teams that set school records at the 2000 ACC Championships … finished ninth in the 200-yard freestyle at the conference championships in a time of 1:39.49 … turned in three second-place finishes versus Virginia in the 100-yard freestyle, 200-yard freestyle and 400-yard medley relay … won the 100-yard freestyle (46.14) against North Carolina … won the 200-yard freestyle and was part of the 400-yard medley relay team finished first versus ACC opponent NC State in the 200-yard freestyle (1:41.46) … won the 100-yard freestyle and 200-yard freestyle at Duke … named to the ACC Honor Roll.
1998-99 season: Swam to last year's top team time in the 200-yard freestyle (1:40.75) and took first place twice during the regular season in the 200-yard freestyle, once against Villanova on Jan. 16 and again vs. Virginia Tech at North Carolina on Jan. 30… finished 13th in the 100-yard freestyle at the 1999 ACC Championships with his career-best 46.50… joined Drew Childs, Aaron Peterson, and Matt Childs as part of the 400-yard freestyle relay team that finished third at the conference championships.
1997-98 season: Transferred to Maryland from Orlando College … placed 11th in the 200-yard freestyle at the ACC Championships (1:41.72) … posted the fastest men's team time in the 200-yard freestyle (1:41.31), the second-fastest time in the 500-yard freestyle (4:36.37) and the third-fastest time in the 100-yard freestyle (46.46).
Before Maryland: A French National Division III gold medalist in the 100-, 200- and 400-yard freestyle at Orlando College … at Amiens, he competed in the French National Division III Championships in the 200-yard backstroke, 200-yard IM and the 400-yard freestyle.
