1998-99 season: Finished 13th in the 200-yard backstroke with a 1:52.10 at the 1999 ACC Championships … finished with the fastest team time in the 200-yard backstroke (1:52.10) … took second-place in four regular-season meets in the 200-yard backstroke for Maryland … also competed regularly in the 100-yard backstroke, finishing 19th in that event at the conference championships.

1997-98 season: Swam on the 800-yard freestyle relay team that placed sixth at the ACC Championships (6:48.44) … posted the second-fastest men's team time in the 200-yard freestyle (1:42.11) and the third-fastest time in the 200-yard backstroke (1:52.65).

1996-97 season: The top freshman on the men's team … was fourth on the men's team in scoring with 139 points …won seven individual races … placed 13th in the 100-yard backstroke (50.53) and 15th in the 200-yard backstroke (1:53.50) at the ACC Championships.

Before Maryland: Held the high school state record in the 200-yard freestyle … named all-state three times … broke the Archmere school record in the 200- and 500-yard freestyle.
