As a Freshman (2009-10): Finished ninth in the 1650 free (16:21.26) to help lead the men to a 2009 Terrapin Cup championship...also scored points for Maryland by touching the wall 13th in the 500 free (4:38.72) and 16th in the 200 fly (2:01.29)...solidified a career-best in the 500 free...secured the third best time on the team in the 400 IM (4:05.86), fourth in the 1650 free (15:48.80) and fifth in the 500 free (4:38.25) at the Last Chance Meet.
Before Maryland: Swam for coach Jeff Leninhan at LaSalle Academy...Rhode Island state champion in the 500 free in both 2006 and 2008...also competed with Bluefish Swim Club.
Personal: Son of Warren and Susan Eve...has one sister, Kirstin...lists his biggest sports thrill as making Junior Nationals...plans to one day be a physical therapist...major is Kinesiology.
