On Slye: Returns with the third-fastest time in the 1000-yard freestyle (10:01.08) and the 1650-yard freestyle (16:26.58).

1999-00 Season: Recorded a career-best time of 10:01.08 in the 1000-yard freestyle at NC State ... placed second in the 800-yard freestyle with a time of 8:38.14 and third in the 400-yard freestyle (4:11.66) against UMBC … finished third in the 400-yard IM (4:48.80) and fourth in the 400-yard freestyle versus Johns Hopkins in a time of 4:17.12.

1998-99 Season: Placed first in the 500-yard freestyle (4:46.31) and the 200-yard freestyle (1:45.70) against Duke on Nov. 8 … finished with the third-fastest team time in the 1000- and 1650-yard freestyle.

1997-98 Season: Posted the top men's team time in the 500-yard freestyle (4:34.99), the second-fastest team times in both the 1000- and 1650-yard freestyle (9:35.52 and 16:09.89) and the third-fastest time in the 200-yard freestyle (1:42.18) … placed 16th in the 200-yard freestyle at the ACC Championships (1:42.18).

Before Maryland: Broke seven school records at DeMatha … the Prince George's County Swimmer of the Year in 1997.
