On Reichsfeld: Will play an important role this season in the Terps' singles lineup ... possesses unlimited physical potential which has made him one of the teams' most reliable weapons ... continues to be a leader by example.

Fall 2004: Advanced to the semifinals of the no. 2 flight in the Brown Invitational...teamed with Michael Coleman to win two doubles matches at the Tom Fallon Invitational.

Spring 2004: Started the season off strong by winning four consecutive matches...finished the season 7-8...won six doubles matches with Scott Fink.

Fall 2003: Picked up where he left off in the spring as he continued to be the Terps' most steady player ... streaked to four straight fall season wins through two tournaments ... finished the fall with a 5-3 record, with two losses coming in three setters ... was active on the doubles end, partnered with three different Terps to finish with a combined 6-3 record.

Spring 2003: The Terps' most consistent performer who finished the season with a team high 14 singles victories ... streaked to 11 straight singles victories ... his streak was the most that Coach Jim Laitta has coached in his career ... went a perfect 13-0 against non-conference opponents ... played mostly at the Nos. 3 and 4 positions ... highlighted his conference play with an ACC victory over NC State's Rehman Esmail, 7-5, 7-6 ... played doubles mostly with fellow sophomore Troy Demers ... the duo, who usually played as the No. 2 seed, ended the season with an impressive 9-3 record.

Fall 2002: Saw action in all three fall tournaments ... competed in the Flight B quarterfinals at the East Coast Championships.

Spring 2002: Emerged as a solid, consistent player for the men all season ... tied for the team lead with 10 singles victories, playing at the four, five and six positions ... tied with Haris Causevic and Chris Chiu for a team-high five consecutive match victories in single during the season ... finished 7-1 against non-conference opponents ... teamed with freshman Troy Demers to win a team-high nine matches, including three in the ACC at the No. 2 position ... member of the team that was awarded the 2002 President's Cup for having the highest team GPA at the University of Maryland.

Fall 2001: Competed in all three fall tournaments in the fall winning two singles flight titles and one flight crown in doubles ... won four matches to capture flight title at NC State Fall Invitational ... won three matches to take singles crown at West Virginia Fall Classic ... teamed up with Troy Demers to capture doubles flight title at West Virginia Fall Classic.

Before Maryland: Attended Santa Cruz Cooperative School in Santa Cruz, Bolivia ... was the second ranked tennis player in Bolivia in 18 and under category ... attended three South American Tournaments ... attended CoSAT tournaments.

Personal: David Reichsfeld ... son of Jose Reichsfeld and Beatriz Martinez and brother of Alex Reichsfeld ... enjoys soccer, music and dance and lists his favorite athletes as Juan Roman Riquelme and Pete Sampras.
