COLLEGE PARK, Md. – Maryland softball head coach Courtney Scott Deifel announced the addition of two players to the Maryland softball program for the 2016 season. Twin sisters Ari and Andi Jarvis (Tustin, California) will become the first two players in Scott Deifel's inaugural recruiting class.
Hailing from the softball hotbed of Southern California, the Jarvis sisters have competed against some of the top prep softball players in the country for Foothill High School and for California's best club programs, most recently So Cal Explosion. Scott Deifel is confident in their ability to make an impact right away in College Park.
“We are really excited about adding both Andi and Ari to our Terp Family,” Scott Deifel said. “They both bring a great deal of athleticism and having played on one of the best travel ball organizations in Southern California - they know how to compete and win. We are looking for both of them to make an immediate impact.”
