Metzger Invited to MLS Combine

NEW YORK – Maryland senior midfielder Dan Metzger has been invited to the 2015 Adidas MLS Player Combine in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. from Jan. 8-13.
Metzger is one of 55 NCAA Division I seniors invited to the combine. All invited players will be eligible for the 2015 MLS SuperDraft on Jan. 15 in Philadelphia.
In his senior campaign the two-year captain notched three goals and two assists while leading all position players in minutes played.
The Maryland soccer program is seeking to extend its rich history of success in the MLS draft. The Terps are looking to extend their streak of drafted players to 10 years in a row.
