COLLEGE PARK, Md. – The start time of the Maryland men's basketball game vs. Virginia on Monday, Feb. 10 has been moved to 9 p.m. from its original tip-off time of 7 p.m. The game will now be broadcast on ESPNU.
The game time has been moved back due to anticipated traffic and impacts of United States President Barack Obama and French President Francois Hollande's visit to Monticello that day. Monticello is the historic estate of Thomas Jefferson.
Fans attending the game should be prepared for potential traffic delays in the Charlottesville area between 2:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.
Gates at John Paul Jones Arena will open at 7:30 p.m.
