Scouting The Terps
• Maryland returns to action for the first time in two weeks after having a series of games cancelled due to poor weather, including the Maryland Invitational.2014 Maryland Terrapins: 1-19, 0-0 ACC Roster Schedule • The Terrapins faced the nation's best at the Citrus Classic in Kissimmee, Fla. two weekends ago, dropping games against No. 1 Florida, No. 4 Oregon and No. 25 Auburn.
• Freshman Kylie Datil notched her first career home run against No. 25 Auburn -- the second of the season for the Terps (Lindsey Schmeiser).
Scouting Georgia Tech
• Georgia Tech has won three of its last four games, including a 7-0 victory over No. 21 Notre Dame on March 8. The Jackets most recently swept Virginia in a midweek double-header (10-2, 3-2).• The Yellow Jackets are featuring four players hitting above .300, including Hayley Downs, who is batting .418. Alysha Rudnik is slugging .683 with a team-high 19 RBIs, while the team has posted 24 home runs through 21 games.
• The Terrapins are just 18-37 all-time against Georgia Tech, but took 2-of-3 last season in Atlanta, Ga. The Yellow Jackets had previously won 20 straight games in the series before last season.
