COLLEGE PARK, Md. – The Maryland softball team will take on Delaware State in a doubleheader beginning at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, April 15, at the Maryland Softball Stadium. The teams were originally scheduled to play on March 5, but the series was postponed due to snow.

The Terrapins travel to Chestnut Hill, Mass. this weekend for a three-game series against Boston College. Maryland took 2-of-3 in the series last season, including a 10-1 victory in the rubber match.

Senior Candice Beards currently ranks second in the ACC with a .471 batting average in conference games, and 10th in on-base percentage (.513).
