GREENSBORO, N.C. – Becky Yep and Myah Hicks were selected to the All-ACC Academic Women's Outdoor Track and Field Team, the league office announced Wednesday.

Yep was a senior in mechanical engineering and was a standout distance runner for the Terrapins in the outdoor season. Also a Capital One Academic All-District honoree, the Ellicott City, Md., native had Maryland's best times of the 2014 season at 1,500 meters, 3,000 meters and 5,000 meters.

Hicks, a junior kinesiology major from Alexandria, Va., qualified for the NCAA East Preliminary Rounds in the 800 and placed ninth in that event at the ACC Outdoor Championships.

To be eligible for All-ACC Academic Team consideration, a student-athlete must have earned a minimum 3.00 grade point average for the previous semester and maintained a minimum 3.00 cumulative average during their academic career.
