COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The No. 19 Maryland men's basketball team returns to the XFINITY Center for a rematch with Indiana on Wednesday at 9 p.m. on the Big Ten Network.

storylines
• Freshman Melo Trimble scored a game-high 20 points as No. 17 Maryland fell at Iowa, 71-55, Sunday afternoon at in Big Ten Conference action at Carver-Hawkeye Arena. Dez Wells finished with 12 points for his fourth-consecutive double-figure scoring performance. The senior is averaging 16 points per game over that span. Wells and Varun Ram posted three steals each while Evan Smotrycz, who notched his first start of the year, chipped in with a career-high three blocks. Maryland utilzed its 10th different starting lineup on the year.
• Maryland is 14-1 in the friendly confines of the XFINITY Center this season, with its lone loss coming to top-five ranked Virginia on Dec. 3 in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge. The Terps are outscoring opponents by an average of 13.2 points per game at home while posting 73.3 points per contest in College Park. Melo Trimble and Dez Wells are averaging a team-high 15.7 points per game at home. The Terps have been ranked in the Associated Press Top 25 poll for 11 straight weeks, the longest streak since 2005-06 when they were ranked 12 consecutive weeks.
• Maryland is 4-0 following a loss this season. Dez Wells notched a game-high 23 points and Jon Graham added 16 as the Terps topped Penn State after stumbling at Ohio State on Jan. 29. Melo Trimble posted 27 points to lead the Terps to a last-second victory against Northwestern after falling to then No. 23 Indiana on the road Jan. 22. Four Terps scored in double-figures, led by Jake Layman's 14 points, in a 69-60 win at Purdue on Jan. 10 after falling to Illinois on the road Jan. 7. The Terps rebounded with a 20-point win over Winthrop after falling to Virginia on Dec. 3. Layman scored a then season-high 21 points.
• Indiana dropped Michigan, 70-67, its last time out on Sunday. IU has three players averaging 13 or more points per game, including James Blackmon, Jr. (16.3), Ferrell (16.0) and Williams (13.3). Indiana boasts the top scoring offense in the league, posting 79.8 points per outing.
• Maryland trails in the all-time series, 6-2, and fell to a hot-shooting Hoosier squad, 89-70, on Jan. 22 in Bloomington.
Big Games vs. the Big Ten
• As the clock struck zero in Maryland's 64-52 victory over Indiana on April 1, 2002, Juan Dixon hurled the ball to the rafters of the Georgia Dome marking the Terrapins' first-ever national championship.
• Dixon, the tournament's Most Valuable Player and current special assistant to Maryland head coach Mark Turgeon, led the Terps with 18 points and played all but two minutes in the title game. Lonny Baxter chipped in 15 points as the Terps used a 22-8 run over the game's final 10 minutes to bring the hardware to College Park.
