Maryland Baseball Makes Two Schedule Changes

COLLEGE PARK, Md. – The Maryland baseball team's upcoming schedule will undergo a pair of changes due to weather conditions in the College Park area.
The Terps' home opener with VCU, originally scheduled for 4 p.m. Tuesday at Shipley Field has been rescheduled to 4 p.m. Wednesday, pending a check of the conditions of the playing surface.
In addition, Maryland's weekend home series with Appalachian State has been moved to the Lake Point Complex in Emerson, Ga. Game one will take place Friday at 6 p.m., with Saturday's game at 4 p.m. The final game of the series will be contested Sunday at noon.
