Shawaryn Earns Big Ten Pitcher of the Week Award

ROSEMONT, Ill. – Sophomore right-hander Mike Shawaryn earned Big Ten Pitcher of the Week honors, the conference announced Monday.

Shawaryn was spectacular in a 15-0 win over Princeton Friday, striking out 11 over seven strong innings of work. The Carneys Point, N.J. native gave up no runs and walked just two.

He previously won Big Ten Pitcher of the Week honors on Feb. 23.
